these are the best

i have tried the bespoke labs iron and it is alright but i prefer the other ones i have as listed above.
As a stylist, I have used a lot of flat irons, including Sedu, HAI, Infrashine, Chi, Paul Mitchell, Solia, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss GHD, T3, Kenta etc.

In terms of performance:

The best ones are: Sedu, Kenta, Solia, Infrashine, GHD. These are top of the line professional brands

Above average: CHI, HAI, Paul Mitchell,

Average: T3, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss

Below Average: Conair, Vidal Sassoon, Revlon, Bed Head etc. These are cheap consumer brands that you will find in drugstore. If you care about your hair, do NOT buy them.

Elite Professional Hair Straightener?

I have a hair straightener from Sally Beauty Supply that I bought 3-4 years ago. On the side of the straightener it says Elite Professional, and that's all. I don't have the box so I don't know if this is a brand or what. I was just wondering if anyone else has had or has one because I can't find it on the internet anywhere. I don't really know why I care, because I don't really like it, but I would just like to know if you can share a brand name or website or experiences or anything.! : )

PRO. Wet-Or-Dry Iron

What it is:

The T3 PRO. Wet-or-Dry Iron straightens and steam-dries in one step, so you can skip the blow dry.

What it does:

T3 PRO. Wet-or-Dry Iron does double duty creating sleek, straight styles on dry hair, and steam-drying wet hair straight. T3's unique vent and channel system evaporates water quickly, protecting the hair by locking in moisture. Tourmaline is infused into the iron componentry and plates鈥攊t's not sprayed on or coated, so it doesn't wear off. T3's tourmaline technology reduces damage leaving hair soft, well conditioned, and healthy looking.

What else you need to know:

Enjoy a smooth glide every time, thanks to our precision-engineered, fixed plates (1-5/8';) that clamp together perfectly with no gap. This iron's fully adjustable temperature control heats to a maximum temperature (410掳F) in seconds, and its 5x per second instant heat recovery system maintains an even temperature throughout styling. It's ideal for hard-to-straighten hair types since it can work on the hair while it's still damp. It is very effective at straightening super-curly, unruly, and ethnic hair types. It can be combined with the T3 ColorLock Pressing Spray to help preserve, enhance, and revitalize colored hair during the straightening process. Two-year warranty included.
Everyone on here is happy with their CHI but I have heard MANY stories of them burning out. We have many CHI dryers here in our salon and they regularly burn out. If you can, research their guarantee and find out how much it costs to return one to them if the warranty is up. Since they work at such high temps, it seems to burn out the circuitry before you've gotten your money's worth. I've heard good things about GHD though. Do your research before you spend so much money, you won't regret the time spent making a good decision in the long run.

    Hi

I was wondering if anybody has a pair of these as I want to know if there any good or not. Any reviews would be great. :)Revolution Jolie Professional hair straightener?
I don't have that, but I have one that is really a revolution - Rowenta Ionic. Your hair gets really straight and soft.

    * New to beauty school *

And i want to get myself a nice straightener for x-mas to work on clients with once i get on the clinic floor.

I am using a CHI now, have been for 5 years now. I love it. Would you recommend continuing to use a Chi or possibly something else? Ive also heard good things about Sedu %26amp; Ghd.. anything else???Hair Stylists!!! What Is the Best Professional Hair Straightener you Recommend!?
I can tell you from experience (having owned both a Sedu %26amp; CHI), your best bet would be to go with the Sedu. Why? Because the Sedu seems to be built better, is based on newer technology and is adjustable, unlike the CHI.

Don't take my word for it, check out this page, it has thousands of user reviews for both Sedu %26amp; CHI products.

I also have used the chi for about 3 years now but i just got a ghd and i LOVE it!!! i wouldn't go back to the chi for anything. just do a little research on it, and see if its something you'd be interested in. The chi is still definitely a great flat iron, just not what i'd recommend anymore.
    Stick with the Chi

Does the Remington: Remington Professional Hair Straightener work? DETAILS....?

I used the remington wet2straight. it ruined my hair, and im kinda iffy on using the same brand. but if I used a heat protecting spray/creme, would this striaghtner be good and keep my hair protected and less fried?

I hated the wet to straight. It sucked.

I've been through a lot of straighteners and my best advice to you is buy a revlon.

Revlon's are outstanding. they last for years, they are cheap but high quality.

    Seriously.

My last few straighteners were conairs, and they all broke!

Trust me on this one, revlon is the best you can get, besides the high end straighteners.Does the Remington: Remington Professional Hair Straightener work? DETAILS....?

Ladies-I am looking for a good, long lasting, Professional hair straightener. What brand?

I have been using a metropolis ceramic iron straightener for years now and it broke. I am thinking about getting the same one but was wondering if anyone out there knew of a better one%26gt;? thanksLadies-I am looking for a good, long lasting, Professional hair straightener. What brand?
CHI makes really good straighteners. They come in a bunch of cool colors too but they're not cheap. They last for a really long time and work on every kind of hair. Mine even keeps my hair straight when its humid outside.Ladies-I am looking for a good, long lasting, Professional hair straightener. What brand?
I have and am a hairstylist and all we use is a GHD, as any professional straightener you need to make sure you get it from a professional. GHD iron is awesome, I have been using mine for over a year and other stylist in my shop have been using them longer, and we have not had any problems. It's is 10 times better than the CHI, i bought my mom a CHI, because she liked my sisters, and once I used the GHD on her hair, she said she wished she would have gotten that one. It gets hotter and actually re-evaluates its temperature every 10 sec so that you get the same temperature from root to end. The new ones also are capable of making big and small curls as well as waves with practice. I am a stylist, and no longer use curling irons. The GHD is all I need. I can get small tight curls to large big curls all in how fast you go. I have used babybliss products and the are a good deal for the money, but my hair is super curly and did not put out enough heat for mine. Just do your research before you by, but, GHD is in my opinion the best by far. I would never use anything else.
GHDs!!! They are really good but if you arent willing to pay that much then FHI's are good and half the price :]
    Go for GHD!
I just got a GHD and it's AMAZING. They are pretty pricey though
the Chi straightener is really good!
Listen to lola!! D's are the best yet they are 180 euro but worth every penny!! I also have an fhi it was only 100euro its great but nothing compare to the ghd!!
    chi straightners are the best
i dont think that ghds work that well they do there job, but they dont seem to stay in long, or overnight, and also at discos as my friend did, the straight comes out, and it starts going VERY curly, i reccommend using babyliss youcurl, as although they are curlers, they have a straight part, and a curling part, and for around 拢40, hese are a bargain! they keep overnight, hanging around friends, and it takes about ten minutes to straighten long hair, which i find great! hope this helps
GHD defo! and they last all day whether you curl or straighten your hair! x
GHD are the best, ihave one and i use it all the time, my hair goes straight and can last for 2 days without washing of course. however they are a bit costly but it's worth the money

i have the same hair type as you and it works great on me! :D

    hope i helped

good luck! What is the best professional hair straightener?
Try a Chi or Sedu, you can't use them when your hair is wet though......

Also be sure to use a heat protectant and separate your hair into sections to get maximum hair straightness!
I do not care what other people say listen to me Hun, I have hair exactly the same hair as you and chi REALLY WOrKS!!
I'm not really sure . Wet to dry straighteners aren't supposed to work that well. My straightener is okay but im not sure what type it is. I've heard from other questions like this that Chi straighteners are supposed to be really good .
Okay everyone is saying get the CHI straightener honestly hun it does not work as well as people make it seem. My hair is totally like yours and i got the CHI straightener i paid $130 and i dont really like it, Its a think flat iron and it takes longer to straighten. Also when you straighten your hair with the CHI on my hair it frizzes up and kinda flips out, (maybe its just my hair) but i dont really like it. I though i'd pay 130 and it would work a lot better. But in my personal opion i think you should the the Hot Tool Straightner it works really good i used for over 5 years never broke and it straighten my hair really good my hair was very wavy and thick and it worked amazling. The good thing is its only $40 dollors and compare to the CHI straightner works better. :)
a chi is the best i think. it dosent fry my hair.. i use it everyday.
I think Chi in pink lolz
Chi Straighteners work very well on my clients and they love how their hair turns out. And I would NEVER recommend that you get a straightener that you can use on wet hair!

What is the cheapest professional hair straightener?

i need the best, cheapest professional hair straightener out there. i do not want to order it online for multiple reasons, anything i can get in a smallish town? thanksWhat is the cheapest professional hair straightener?
It doesn't matter : as long as the surface is flat and soft they're all the same ( there also are golden flat irons but that's just useless ! ), ads don't say so but that's all commercial scam !

The speed and quality of straightening has nothing to do with that, it's all about temperature and health : the more heat you apply to your hair, the easier it straightens, and it also allows your hair to keep straight longer.

The healthier your hair is, the faster it straightens ( you wouldn't even need to apply much heat ). If your hair starts to flick out a few time after straightening, it has nothing to do with the quality of the straightener, it just means your hair starts to be ruined by the heat, and it does damage the hair a lot over the long haul !

Also, applying heat protector on hair is no use, you shouldn't apply anything on your hair before straightening it, because the heat will make it kind of boil and fry. Never touch or move your hair when it's still hot, always let it go back to lukewarm before you touch it. Never let the straightener more than three seconds on any given section of hair : basically, straighteners were meant to be used for the fininshing of straightening the hair using blowdryer and round brush, they're not meant to straighten the hair from curly, hope that helps !What is the cheapest professional hair straightener?
I own a Conair hair straightener. It has always been excellent on my hair and it was EXTREMELY inexpensive. I bought it at a Target for $14.95! One thing to keep in mind is your hair type. I have sort of straight hair already, but I have layers so I like to straighten it out. Conair is great for low-maintenance hair, but if you have curly hair, you may want to look a little further.
I have a chi and it works amazing. Yes, I have a chi and it works amazing.

I would most definitely recommend it to you.
Conair runs pretty cheap and it works fairly well. I have the $40 one that was supposed to run for $80 (it's the infiniti series) but I got it on sale... so it was a TOTAL steel!

What's the best professional hair straightener for my hair type?

I'm Asian with really thick hair. My hair is straight but not pin straight which I want to achieve occasionally because I sometimes curl my hair. Right now I'm using a $22 worth ConAir hair straightener and obviously it doesn't do a very good job and it dries my hair out.

What brands out there that are good?

My price range is about $100 -$200 and what stores can I buy them?

What's the best professional hair straightener for my hair type?
    Definently Chi Turbo 2'

I have one and we seem to have the same hair type

go to www.folica.com and they sell them

They are not as expensive as you may imagine, they are around $115 or so, and they are great.

They do not sell them at salons, but they do sell them at Target, but they are boxed up so no one will steal them. Thats how good they are, no other ones are like that.

Enjoy! What's the best professional hair straightener for my hair type?

If you dont mind forking out a lot then GHD's. All the proffessional hair salons use them.

my hair is very curly and i had been experimenting with diffrent types of hair irons for quite some time , until i came across GHD's which are the best Straighteners on the market in my opinion. the only down side to them is that they are abit expensive but they are defiantly worth it.

    hope i helped x
I use the CHI Straightener and i works AHMAZING! My hair can be hard to straighten sometimes but with CHI id is really easy! The CHI is Chinese, but you can find it at any specialty hair care store! Good luck!

A Futura. It is an Italian straightener and it simply works wonders.
the GHD hair straightner is at the top of the line for its price right now!...but also the CHI straightner does a fantastic job..and if your looking at price savings...the FHI works exeptionally well .

I personally like the Chi Flat Iron. I've been using it for at least two to three years and I think it works really well. My hair isn't kinky just really poofy at times so when I do want to straighten it I use the Chi. It does work a lot better though when you use like shiner before straightening...like Biosilk and stuff. lol

  • Do you think that professional hair straighteners work better than drug store bought hair straighteners...why?

I think it all depends on the brand. You can get cheap straighteners that do the same job as a pricey one. Personally I think it's ridiculous to spend over $100 on something like that. Hot Tools is an awesome brand. They make everything from straighteners to curling irons and blow dryers. They are not over priced, and will last forever.Do you think that professional hair straighteners work better than drug store bought hair straighteners...why?
professional straightners do wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy better!!! drug store one's starighten but it still makes your hair really frizzy. i have a leopard print ';chi'; that i got for Christmas that was $139. im 14 and i use all the time except for when i wear my hair frizzy. i would go with a ';wigo'; tho beacause my chi just broke beacause my sister used it on her wet hair :(

Professional Hair Straighteners like Maxiglide or Instyler?

From what store can you get them in the mall?Professional Hair Straighteners like Maxiglide or Instyler?
Trade secret is a good place to find those...

Are Professional hair straighteners good for your hair, because they produce too much heat to your hair?

because when I starighten my hair i see smoke coming out of it.Are Professional hair straighteners good for your hair, because they produce too much heat to your hair?
they are all the same sisterAre Professional hair straighteners good for your hair, because they produce too much heat to your hair?
that is completely normal, but it is not good to straiten your hair all the time because your frying your hair and it isn't good for your hair! give it a break one of the days when your not busy take a shower and let it air dry that way your not frying it with a hair dryer either and after you have combed your hair put leave in conditioner in your hair it helps!!

    good luck
A good ceramic flat iron on slightly damp hair is the best way to get the finish you want. I use one whenever I want to change my style from curly to straight and the results are great. If you're seeing smoke while using your straightener, I'd stay consider changing your appliance and whatever products you're using on your hair.
you probably see the steam coming from it because your hair might be damp from water or hair products you use. i would only get a professional ceramic hair straightener because they do less damage. CHI is good. some prevent damage. you just have to make sure your hair is completely dry because if its damp and steam is coming out that is not good.
Chi irons are ceramic and even though you may see smoke chis can be good for ones hair. just use the right products and go over each piece of hair you want to straighten slowly but only do it once. its the repitition that causes damage
most likely ur setting the temp to high for ur hair try setting it lower and i might help that.
no i am sure they r not for ur hair.

heat protection creme is always a good idea, but when i straighten my hair with my Chi i generally dont even bother...my hair is not too damaged and i straighten it every day :DDo you have use heat protection creme when you straighten your hair with professional hair straighteners?
some people tell me i don't have to straighten my hair but i feel like i do have to.. =/ i use a straightner every SINGLE DAY lol i go to school so i have to look presentable and on the weekends i go out...off topic

but i set my straighter at 400 on the Paul Mitchell my hair isn't damaged i have a few split ends but it's not bURNT or anything but heat protection is good but you really don't have to.
No, you don't. That's about how often I straighten my hair and I don't have any problems, but my hair has always been very healthy. If your hair is prone to dryness, breakage, or split ends, I would use at least a protective heat spray. If not, then just condition your hair well when you wash it and it should be fine.
i would suggest leave in conditioner and not straitening your hair as much as you do beacause your frying your hair and thats not the best thing to do for it!!

    good luck,

    Anna Bahm
i use heat setting 230 and sometimes i dont bother, but its better to.
There is a new product called ';It's a 10'; that protects against heat damage. It is a great product.
